In Japan for a few days?
Find a sauna that fits your trip — open all night after a late flight, a place to rest outdoors, a natural hot spring, a private room for your group. These labels come only from what each official website says. New to Japanese baths? Read how to use a sauna in Japan first.

How to read this site
Three things we do on every page
Each page follows the sauna in the order you would go round it: the entrance, the sauna rooms, the cold bath, the place to rest outdoors.
Each page shows the address in Japanese — e.g. 東京都港区赤坂3-13-4 — with directions by train, a copy button and a large view to show a taxi driver.
Hours, temperatures and designers come from official websites and architects' pages. If something is not published — tattoo rules, for example — we say so instead of guessing.
